So, it’s only the second week in May and some AMAZING achievements have taken place for some Rev Members!
As most of you know, our very own Rev.Coach; Adam White, accompanied members Lorna Bell and Becky Harvey-Ever’s in a gruelling, (to say the least,) 20 Mile, 200 Obstacle Course in Burghley on Saturday 6th May. The ‘Trio’ ran in memory of Lorna’s eldest daughter Ella, who sadly lost her 4 1/2-year battle with Cancer just before her 7th Birthday in 2006.
Through wind and rain, the threesome completed the physically and mentally exhausting course in just over 6 hours, and as a result have raised nearly £2,000 for ‘Children with Cancer’ and ‘East Anglian Air Ambulance’ charities. I think I’m safe to say on behalf of everyone at Revolution, that this is a massive and very impressive achievement that requires endurance, strength, mental toughness and team work in which all three individuals certainly had.
INCREDIBLE WORK ADAM, LORNA AND BECKY!
… Now, it doesn’t stop there!
The man himself has been very shy about it, but our very own Henry Brewis and his incredible wife Hayley, flew to Geneva earlier last week, not for a holiday – but to run a MARATHON! Yup! You heard me! 26 Miles! Pretty awesome, right? #thosewhoruntogetherstaytogether
…Again, running a marathon isn’t a ‘walk in the park’! Henry and Hayley too, are inspirational to us all.
Phenomenal performance Henry! Here’s to the next one! 🙂
